Despite some differences caused by the sample features, the results obtained with the French version of the MADRE questionnaire indicated a lot of similarities with the German original version. However, all variables did not reach satisfying retest reliability. The findings regarding the French version of the MADRE questionnaire are encouraging but a replication with a shorter test/retest interval and a more representative sample is needed.
