Background: The Belgian ‘National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (RIZIV-INAMI)’ requested prospective collection of data on all ablations in Belgium to determine the outcomes of surgical ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF) during concomitant cardiac surgery.
