The article is focused on the French literature of Canada, Belgium and Switzerland, which is part of the library collections of the Philology Department. At the beginning, the terms of French-speaking and Francophonie are explained. The formation of Francophonie is described in historical perspective. Then I am discussing the origins of particular literatures up to the present day. The profiles of selected authors are presented with characterization of their work, as well as their contribution to the dissemination of the idea of Francophonie.
