They were buried later at Heverlee war cemetery. Stewart's father was a sub-postmaster at Galloway Street, Maxwelltown for many years. He put together an album of memories, keeping papers relating to his family. Stewart and Marjory's military services included. This was found by Stewart's brother Neil when his father died. He remembers his big brother with much fondness and love and has visited his grave.
