Identification of acetogenin compound, sabadelin from soursop seeds, Annona muricata (Annonaceae)

Isolation and identification of one chemical compound from the seeds of soursop, Annona muricata (Annonaceae) based on bioactivity-guided fractionation by the Brine Shrimp Lethality Assay (BSLA) have been done. The powder of soursop seed was extracted successively with n-hexane, chloroform, and methanol then the methanol extract was partitioned with ethylacetate water.
