Desde principios del siglo XVI, en la diócesis de Canarias, sufragánea de la de Sevilla, se encuentran instituidos dos servicios litúrgicos que ya encontramos en la matriz hispalense desde el siglo XV: la Misa de Nuestra Señora y la salve sabatinas. En ambas diócesis, una vez que contaron con un grupo de ministriles a su servicio, estos se incorporaron con los cantores para participar en su celebración. From the beginning of the 16th century, in the diocese of the Canarias, suffragan of Seville, we find the foundation of two liturgical services that had previously been founded in the Sevillian archdiocese, during the 15th century, by two of the cathedral's prebendaries: the Mass of Our Lady and the Salve service on Saturdays. In both dioceses, once they had a wind-band at their service, these instrumentalists joined the singers as part of the ceremonies.
