In 1903, during the treatment course in Tashkent, Rev. Juozas Sabas (1868–1926) from Seinai Diocese wrote review about the catholic life in Middle Asia “Turkiestan– Polacy i Litwini w Taszkiencie“ (“Turkestan– Poles and Lithuanians in Tashkent”). It is a rare narrative source about Catholic Church in this region. This review by Rev. J.Sabas was published in Polish press in 1903.
