Traditional farm building is determined by manual work and the close relation between living and animal housing. By introducing new production methods, labour demands and labour capacity could be increased. This leads to the following tasks for farm building: economical constructions for growing farm units; new functions for villages; ecological and animal oriented housing systems. By computer-based husbandry systems it is possible to focus on the animal in developing barn systems on a high production level.
