Major Stidwell: Journey Through World War II and Beyond

The contributor brought along a number of his grandfather's possessions including wartime photographs, a typewritten account of the D-Day Operation, maps, a book, two letters from Lord Harrow, and a record of service. The grandfather, Major Stidwell, was in the Army and participated in the North African and Italian campaigns. Around the time of the Battle of Salerno, he was missing in action.
