The Netherlands: 1. Science policy

The following highlights are taken from the 1978 annual progress report of the Advisory Council for Science Policy in the Netherlands. It looked at the position of the minister without portfolio for science policy, university research, sector councils, information services, and the popularization of science. It also considered R and D expenditure trends 1970–1982 and spending patterns in the major research sectors.
