Trees of visual significance are a familiar part of the Dutch landscape. However, no systematic research or survey has ever been done in this field. The aim of the project was to make rnaps showing the occurrence of the different types of these trees and groups of trees, to explain their origin and to offer recommendations on tree management and landscape planning. .Zie: Summary
