New for Ghana. Verified data confirm its occurrence in Gabon, Guinea, Ivory Coast and Nigeria. It probably has a much wider distribution. Remarks. Apisa cinereocostata is superficially very similar to A. ( A. ) canescens Walker, 1855 and therefore confused with it for a long time.
