Chester H. Lang, General Electric Company vice president of public relations, welcomes six national officers and one state officer of the Future Farmers of America to Schenectady. The young men toured the GE plants here as guest of the company which is one of the charter sponsors f the FFA Foundation which supports the FFA movement. Mr. Lang recently was named chairman of the donors committee of the FFA. Left to right, the FFA leaders are: William Sorem, Dunda Minn., vice president; Fred Reed, Jr., Hinsville, ARK., vice president; James Dillion, Jones, LA, president; James Willis, Clio, SC., secretary; Charles Anken, Holland Patent, NY, state president; Donald Travis, Fallon, NEV. And Malcolm Ellis, Mapleton, ME., national vice president. The FFA officers have concluded an orientation course in Washington and toured cities in which sponsors have plants.
