Holland House Presidential Move 2009

This video shows the move of the Holland House, Elon University's former presidents’ house on Haggard Avenue, across the railroad tracks to South Campus June of 2009. Relocating the Holland House makes room for a Phi Beta Kappa plaza and an Elon Academic Village to be built. On June 13, 2009 the actual move began, with workers inching the mansion east on Haggard, then south on Antioch Avenue, to a staging area where it sat overnight.
