A study on overcapacity in the Dutch flatfish sector

This report addresses the important issue of overcapacity in the fishery sector. The main objectives of the research were to estimate current incomes and costs in the Dutch flatfish sector. And future fishing capacity under various scenarios. ; In dit rapport wordt gekeken naar het probleem van overcapaciteit in de Nederlandse vloot. Het doel van deze studie is het berekenen van de huidige inkomens en kosten in de platvisvisserij en het bepalen van de aanwezige overcapaciteit in de huidge vloot. Het berekenen van de optimale vlootcapaciteit in verschillende toekomstscenario's.
