Charlotte Perkins Gilman: The ‘dwelling hotel’ and the Feminist Transformation of Dutch Housing
This proposal reviews the 19th-century American feminist Charlotte Perkins Gilman (1860-1935) and her influence on Dutch housing during the early 20th century, particularly due to her book Women and Economics: A Study of the Economic Relation Between Men and Women as a Factor in Social Evolution (1898).
