Susanna van Collen, wife of Jean Pellicorne with her daughter Anna
Jean Pellicorne, a wealthy Amsterdam merchant, married Susanna van Collen in 1626, and their children, Anna and Caspar, were born in December 1626 and June 1628 respectively. This portrait shows daughter Anna receiving money from her mother. It is the companion piece to the portrait of Jean Pellicorne with his son Caspar (also in the Wallace Collection, P82).
