Order from the Justices of the Supreme Court of Judicature, that Maria Sanders Van Rensselaer was to pay the Minister Elders and deacons of the Dutch Reformed Church of Albany a debt left by her husband, Philip Van Rensselaer. Date of order April 23, 1799. The debt was $928.75, and Maria was charged an additional $21.68 for the "damages, costs, and charges", by the Dutch Reformed Church by sustaining this debt.
