The Dutch Foundation within International Structures

In this article the author outlines the function and legal boundaries of the Dutch foundation (in Dutch it is often referred to as: ‘ Stichting’ ). Furthermore, the purpose of a Dutch foundation will be set out within international structures. This includes, firstly, a stipulation of the purpose of the Foundation in general, and then an outline of the main legal and tax characteristics of the Dutch Foundation. In conclusion the purpose and value of the Foundation within international structures are explored.
