Belgian Company Law 2.0 : Belgium reforms company law to join the competition for corporate charters

Abstract: As of 1 May 2019 a new Belgian Companies and Associations Code is applicable in Belgium. The new Code is generally aimed at making Belgian company law simpler, more flexible, innovative and coherent, so as to convince domestic and foreign entrepreneurs to choose a Belgian company form for their Belgian and cross-border activities.
