Objective: To glimpse in Ernesto Sábato's work his option for the human, a matter that will imply a critique of the modus operandi of scientific knowledge and the consequent vindication of the literary work of art. Method: Textual hermeneutics will allow us to enter the symbolic universe of the work of art, thus delving into its intratextual dynamics, its indeterminacies and the reflections that it propitiates on an irreducible and complex human condition.
