Indications for a review of the indictment for consoiracy: the sabará and Vila Rica Cases ; Apontamentos para uma análise da acusação por inconfidência: os casos de Sabará e Vila Rica

This paper intends to propose a study on the prosecution for the crime and conspiracy and political action of the Court of Conspiracy in the late Old Regime in Portugal. We will do this by studying the Conspiracy of Sabará (Inconfidência de Sabará, 1775) and the Minas Conspiracy (Inconfidência Mineira, 1789), as well as the involvement of two auditors in these conflicts, respectively, José de Góes Ribeiro Lara de Morais and Tomás Antônio Gonzaga.
