The objective of the work is to establish an environmental pedagogical strategy aimed at the students of the Inda Sabaleta Bilingual Environmental Agricultural Technical Educational Institution, El Nortal headquarters, for the reduction of contamination by solid waste from the Pilvisito stream. The proposed methodology has a qualitative, descriptive approach, with a socio-critical paradigm; the research category is environmental education and its study dimensions are regulations, knowledge and environmental participation. According to the diagnostic stage, 100% of students do not know the environmental regulations; 95% do not know in a concrete way the problematic environmental reality and the possible solutions; and 89% do not participate in or know of improvement processes carried out to improve the reservation's ravine; Around this, a capable pedagogical strategy oriented by meaningful learning is proposed. This study concludes that the contamination of the Pilvisito stream of the Awá indigenous reservation of Inda Sabaleta is based on the absence of adequate environmental education in accordance with the cultural and environmental needs of the region, and specific needs of the students; In this context, the pedagogical strategy implemented was a dialogic process between the student and her environment. ; El objetivo del trabajo es establecer una estrategia pedagógica ambiental dirigida a los estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Técnica Agropecuaria Ambiental Bilingüe Inda Sabaleta, sede El Nortal, para la reducción de la contaminación por residuos sólidos de la quebrada Pilvisito.
