Prens Sabahattin, Ziya Gökalp ile birlikte Türk Sosyoloji geleneğinde iz bırakan seçkin simalardan biridir. O hem bir sosyolog hem de bir düşünce insanı olarak Türkiye’nin Nasıl Kurtarılacağına dair geliştirdiği tezlerle, hem sosyoloji kültürümüze hem de düşünce atlasımıza derin bir iz bırakmıştır. Yaşadığı çalkantılı dönem itibariyle de Türkiye’nin yenileşme sürecine görüşleriyle katkıda bulunmuştur.
