Recommendations on the health risks of petting zoos and care farms

Animals may carry pathogens that can be transmitted to humans and spread diseases (zoonoses). Animals on petting zoos and care farms are no exception and can therefore pose a health risk to visitors and clients. Certain gastrointestinal bacteria carried by the animals pose a risk when ingested by humans, other microorganisms are dangerous when inhaled. ; NL; nl; vwaefsafocalpoint@vwa.nl
