Haeckel in Holland. Dutch correspondence to a German Darwinist and monist Over 250 letters and postcards were sent from the Netherlands to the German Darwinist and monist Ernst Haeckel (1834-1919). Among the senders were Dutch scientists, German scientists (with a chair at a L5utch university), pseudo-scientists, translators and admirers.
