Energieproeftuin: a real scale experiment with low-energy dwellings in The Netherlands

This paper describes a real scale experiment with low-energy single-family dwellings in The Netherlands called "Energieproeftuin" (energy test garden). An extensive research program, which started in 1983 and will probably end in 1986, is connected to this project. At the end of 1985 a first evaluation of the whole project was carried out. This paper gives an outline of the project and research program and describes the results obtained during the first evaluation.
