Letter from John R. Finn to James G. Finn, 25 February 1945

During the war, he served in the 8th Armored Division of the U. S. Army in the European Theater and was awarded the Purple Heart after receiving a hand wound. He returned to Norwich University after the war and graduated with a BA degree in English in 1946.
