This publication provides a technical description of the TIES project (The Integration of the European Second generation) survey data collected in the Netherlands in 2006-2007. At the time of writing of this report, all authors were staff members of NIDI. This publication complements another AUP publication entitled “The Position of the Turkish and Moroccan Second Generation in Amsterdam and Rotterdam”, edited by M. Crul and L. Heering, in the IMISCOE research series. The TIES project is an international collaborative survey research endeavour of institutes in Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands. The project was implemented under the umbrella of the IMISCOE (International Migration, Integration and Social Cohesion) Network of Excellence.
