This report details the developments concerning Dutch trade in agricultural products in 2019. The first estimates of the agricultural data for 2019 are published as such in this joint publication by Wageningen Economic Research and Statistics Netherlands, commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV). Furthermore, the report explains how much money the Netherlands earns through agricultural trade, lists agricultural industry patents, and inventories research and development in the agricultural sector. The number of foreign agricultural subsidiaries is also given. This report also describes the environmental performance of the agricultural sector from 1995 onwards. Insight is provided for a number of products regarding the knowledge and sustainability credentials relating to these products. ; Dit rapport beschrijft de ontwikkeling van de Nederlandse handel in landbouwproducten in 2019. Wageningen Economic Research en CBS maken in deze gezamenlijke uitgave, in opdracht van het ministerie van LNV, de eerste ramingen van de landbouwhandelscijfers voor 2019 bekend en voorzien deze van duiding. Daarnaast gaat het rapport in op hoeveel Nederland verdient aan de landbouwhandel, zijn patenten in de agro-industrie in kaart gebracht en is de R&D in het agrarische bedrijfsleven geïnventariseerd. Verder wordt onder andere het aantal agrarische dochterondernemingen in het buitenland beschreven. Voor de eerste keer wordt ingegaan op de milieuprestaties van de agrosector sinds 1995 en wordt voor een aantal producten inzicht gegeven in de hiermee samenhangende kennis of duurzaamheid.
