More and more students with dyslexia start in higher education. There is a growing need for valid and standardized diagnostic tools for this group (Tops, Callens, Lammertyn, van Hees, & Brysbaert, 2012). It was confirmed that Dutch first year bachelor students with dyslexia read slower than their typically developing peers. Reading performance of first bachelor students strongly relates to the education that they had in high school. The more theoretical their education, the better they read.
