The World Council of Churches and the Reformed Ecumenical Synod : Dutch influence within ecumenism

A simple reading of the assigned subject for this address might lead to the conclusion that attention would be given to the influence of any and all Dutchmen and Dutch churches, anywhere in the world, on the World Council of Churches and the Reformed Ecumenical Synod. This will, in general, not be the course of inquiry which will be pursued. For the bulk of this presentation we will concentrate on the influence on these two organizations of the churches of Dutch origin within the United States and Canada.
