The University of Luxembourg in collaboration with PriceWaterhouseCoopers launched a 2-year research project (2016-18) focused on: (i) developing a database of family firms in Luxembourg (and to follow, the Greater Region); (ii) undertaking a survey with family firms assessing their characteristics, unique features and reasons for sustaining from one generation to another and (iii) carrying out face-to-face interviews with a selected sample of family firms in Luxembourg.
