During works on the reconstruction of the book collection from the Jesuit College in Poznań the researchers came across three volumes with characteristic Flemish Panel-Stamped decorated bindings, in which designs were stamped into the leather cover by a block, into which the image had been carved or incised. The bindings were made in Leuven, in bookbinding workshops that placed their monograms of the following letter combinations: “IP” (Jacob Pandelaert?) and “IB” (Jacob Bathen).
