Time Trends in Histopathological Findings in Mammaplasty Specimens in a Dutch Academic Pathology Laboratory

Background: Reduction mammaplasties are often performed at a relatively young age. Necessity of routine pathological investigation of the removed breast tissue to exclude breast cancer has been debated.
