Phonotype - visual identity of the Dutch language according to its phonology - Expo with Lecture - Library Beringen - Belgium

Expo Phonotype, showed at the library of Herselt, Belgium. In this solo exhibition the Phonotype project has been shown. Phonotype recieved and was nominated for several national and international prizes as well as exhibitions. The exhibition consists of 47 panels displaying the entire 'Phonotype' alphabet. Next to the panels, QR-codes can be scanned to listen to the relevant sounds. At the opening of the exhibition, which was also the opening of a new 'language area' at the library with materials for foreign speakers, Walda Verbaenen gave a lecture about the importance of the project to learn...
