Travelling is of great importance in the intellectual and literary experience of Carmen de Burgos (Almería 1867-Madrid 1932), a prolific educator, journalist, novelist and essayist who was strongly committed to feminist causes. In the summer of 1914 she visited Scandinavia (Denmark, Sweden, and Norway), publishing articles later collected in a book. This study follows that journey and shows the author’s observations.
