Osadnictwo olęderskie na Żuławach w ujęciu historii środowiskowej : perspektywy badawcze ; Environmental history of Olęder colonization of Żuławy

Changes in the landscape and the infl uence on fauna and fl ora appear to be obvious consequences of the Dutch colonization not only in Żuławy region but also in other areas of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth which the colonization included from the 16th to the 18th century. In spite of that the environmental aspect of the settlement still remains in the margin of the main interest of studies on its history. The aim of this article is to pose research questions which consider the issue of the Dutch colonization a part of the environmental history strand.
