The article not only takes the reader on a geographical tour of the Caribbean, but also enlightens him about the legal relationship between the parties forming the Kingdom of the Netherlands. It then leads on to a discussion of the main features of the Netherlands Antilles Foundation, and culminates in an outlook on the proposed constitutional restructuring of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
