Social support of maternity and child welfare in Belgium

The article deals with building up social support of maternity and child welfare in Belgium. It is proved that one of the main trends of modern state family policy includes supporting families with two parents working. The governmental policy is aimed to help any woman combine employment with maternity. It was demonstrated by introducing legislation on maternity leave and protection of working mothers’ rights.
