Children’s rights in general and the UN’s Children and Armed Conflict (CAAC) Agenda in particular have been a foreign policy priority of the Government of Belgium for decades, both in financial and in policy terms. It furthermore analyzes the SCWG-CAAC conclusions, their structure, and the traditionally challenging points in the negotiations. Finally, the article concludes by reflecting on gaps and opportunities moving forward. ; Este artículo analiza los objetivos de la presidencia de Bélgica del Grupo de Trabajo del Consejo de Seguridad sobre los niños y los conflictos armados (GTCS-NCA) de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) y la medida en que se han materializado. Además, analiza las conclusiones del GTCS-NCA, su estructura y los puntos tradicionalmente complejos en las negociaciones. El artículo concluye con una reflexión sobre las brechas y las oportunidades futuras. ; Cet article examine les objectifs de la présidence belge du Groupe de travail du Conseil de sécurité des Nations Unies sur les enfants et les conflits armés (SCWG-CAAC) et dans quelle mesure ils ont été atteints. Il analyse en outre les conclusions du SCWG-CAAC, leur structure et les points traditionnellement difficiles des négociations. Enfin, l'article se termine par une réflexion sur les lacunes et les opportunités à venir.
