The muskrat, widespread all over the country, the raccoon and some coypus are invaders from rearing facilities. Population reinforcements of game species (brown hare, red deer, wild boar.) are still frequent and are made without any control measures. Sometimes, hybrids between domestic pigs and wild boars are released in the wild by hunters. No project is officially supported to reintroduce extinct species. In some conservationist groups, however, there is some concern in doing something in favor of the otter and the beaver.
