The varied and changing forms of activation in Belgium

The aim of this article is to summarise the evolution of activation mechanisms in the Belgian social security system, giving a brief historical summary and particularly emphasizing the reforms of the years 2016 and 2017. ; Cet article a pour but d’exposer de manière synthétique l’évolution des dispositifs d’activation dans le système de sécurité sociale belge, en faisant un bref récapitulatif historique et en insistant particulièrement sur les réformes des années 2016 et 2017.
