Background: The need for palliative care and end-of-life care increases as the world population grows older and as people, more extensively, suffer from chronic diseases. End-of-life care is described as a part of palliative care and people in need of end-of-life care can be met anywhere in the health care system, therefore, education about end-of-life care is necessary for nursing students.
