Verbiest consists in the transformation of an abandoned warehouse situated in a dense urban block. It embodies an architectural exploration challenging conventional notions about material use, the economics of construction, environmental consciousness, comfort and programmatic expectations. This project also questions the recurrent confusion between circularity and reuse labels, and conspicuous consumption.
