In October 2018, a specimen of Omonadus bifasciatus (Rossi, 1792) was found in Strépy-Bracquegnies (Hainaut). In June 2021, tens of specimens of Notoxus trifasciatus Rossi, 1792 were discovered in Courcelles (Hainaut). Both species are thermophile and indigenous in the Centre and the South of Europe, in North Africa and in Asia Minor. O. bifasciatus is also present in the South of England. Until now, both species were unknown in the Benelux countries.
