The communication proposed, starting from the well-documented example of artisan neighbourhoods of the vicus of Bliesbruck put into perspective with comparable researches in other vici (Schwarzenacker, Mâlain, Vitudurum), to address this issue through the study of the homes that house these activities (area of houses, architecture and home equipment, respective roles of housing and work space) and the lifestyle of those who are at the origin (development of houses and archaeological artefacts discovered).
