Forestry in the Belgian Uplands
A brief general account of forestry in the region to be visited by the Society in May 1960. The native species are mentioned, but the account deals chiefly with the present conversion of coppice with standards to high, mixed forest, and the transformation of pure spruce plantations to mixed forest. The methods of achieving these ends are outlined.
