This article deals with the description of the Liturgy of the Presanctified Gifts in the Byzantine liturgical book known as the Typikon of Mâr Saba. This description is well preserved from its oldest known Greek testimonies until at least the 13th century. It is notable that this liturgical celebration is the only one depicted in the book that involves the Eucharist.
