[EN] This final degree project (FDP) is summarized as the design process of a foundation for a housing project in Quito (Ecuador). For the design of a foundation it is necessary to know the geology of the area (it is possible to emphasize a high risk of seismic actions), the application of geotechnical models and the knowledge of structural elements of reinforced concrete, taking into account the available construction systems in the geographical location. This information has been compiled and analyzed, thus doing this project. In the final degree project a study has been carried out in terms of different alternatives, such as footings, foundation plates and piles. The design criteria have been economic valuation, available labor (zone technology), structural and execution safety and the lower consumption of materials. As a result of a more adequate or optimal solution, this has been described through some design for its execution, an economic valuation to estimate the cost and a planning of the time that will take to realize. ; [CA] Aquest treball final de grau (TFG) es resumeix com el procés de disseny d'una fonamentació per a un edifici d'habitatges a Quito (Equador). Per al disseny d'una fonamentació és necessari conèixer la geologia de la zona (cal destacar un alt risc d'accions sísmiques), l'aplicació de models geotècnics i coneixements d'elements estructurals de formigó armat, tenint en compte els sistemes de construcció disponibles a la ubicació geogràfica. Aquesta informació s'ha recopilat i s'ha analitzat, realitzant així aquest treball. En el TFG s'ha realitzat un estudi solucions en funció de diferents alternatives, com ara sabates, llosa de fonamentació i estaques.
